At Atikokan Literacy's Adult Learning Centre we work to meet the varied needs of individual adult learners and the community of Atikokan and its surrounding area. Lifelong learning enriches lives and empowers individuals to participate more fully in their personal life and in their community. We welcome all those who wish to continue their learning at the Adult Learning Centre.
We are a non-profit, board run, community organization.
We provide the services and courses needed to qualify you for today's workplace.
We provide free help and support to adults in basic reading, writing numbers / mathematics, computer use and essential skills in an increasingly technical world.
At the Adult Learning Centre we offer grade twelve equivalency or any missing high school credits you need to obtain your high school diploma.
We believe a quality literacy program is rooted in the community it serves. Learners in our program are invited to become members of Atikokan Literacy Incorporated in order to participate in decision making at the Annual General Meeting. Memberships cost $2.00 and are available at the Adult Learning Centre.

OUR MISSION
Atikokan Literacy Incorporated's Adult Learning Centre provides free, confidential, and learner-centered tutoring for adults who want to improve their life and learning skills.
